Being a local resident for over 20 years has given me the opportunity to really get to know the area I call home. I have a professional background in Accounting, Banking and Mortgages. This, along with working for American Realty of Venice since 2014, has given me the exposure and experience that is so beneficial to assisting buyers and sellers with all aspects of their Real Estate needs. A Nebraska native, I gave up the life of cold & snow to come and enjoy all that sunny Florida has to offer. Free time is spent with my family, who enjoy various sports, travel and the great outdoors.

Loving where I live and doing what I love. Two of the most important things in life.  Whether it is helping a client sell their home to move to their next step in their life or helping that first time home buyer buy their dream home. That is what it's all about. Making people's dreams come true. Living locally for over 30 years, I am blessed with a husband, 2 fur babies, 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Let me help make your dreams come true......

My first objective as a Realtor is to discover what my customers want to achieve in working with a Real Estate Agent. My desire is to provide the expertise and experience that will enable you successfully accomplish your goals. As a property owner selling a property – I want to be able to work with you to skillfully offer suggestions that will maximize the return you get on your investment before, during and after the offer. As a buyer seeking to purchase a new home, you may not be familiar with Florida real estate. There are many things that are quite different from other areas of the county. I am focused on finding and securing the right property for you. I have shown people property--- some have bought the first house they viewed, and others --- my longest sale was over 3 years and almost 75 homes, but --- the house they decided to purchase was perfect for them. I still am thrilled with the outcome and so are they! Working together like this has provided great satisfaction to me in my endeavor to provide to the very best of my ability excellent service and support.

Most of my business is done through referrals from customers who have bought or sold properties. I do not advertise, I don’t focus on social media. I work bridge to bridge – Port Charlotte to Bradenton. But have on occasion gone outside of the area to help former customers buy a particular property. I have sold property in Sun City, and gone to Ocala to help a couple in dire financial distress.

I began selling Real Estate in the affluent suburbs of Detroit, Michigan – I joined Town and Country Century 21 in 2004 – at the time they were the largest franchise in this country. After interviewing many companies, I chose them because they had an extensive education program. My first career was as an International Auto Account Manager for Fortune 50 Computer companies – (IBM, Digital, Sun) who provided me with excellent sales education and experience. During this time, we lived in 11 states and we moved 22 times. I knew the change to Real Estate would require learning a new industry. Thankfully, Town & Country was an excellent choice. Yes, we moved again and I started working for a very small independent office in Western Michigan where I developed a good business. We made the decision to move to Florida in 2012. My broker from Greenridge Realty, in Whitehall, Michigan had relocated to Venice! Inviting me to join him in his new venture. I love my job! I love helping people. Of course, we did!

I have several customers who do investing in real estate for rental purposes. The last ten years have certainly proven that real estate has been a great investment. Their investments have returns that have not been surpassed in any other area. Their property has certainly increased in value, and their rental income has increased substantially over the years.

Most of all I believe that I have been truly blessed to be able to work in paradise. Our only regret is that we did not move earlier. This experience has been wonderful and in November of 2022 – we will have lived in Venice longer than any other place we have lived in our lives! My husband assists me with my

business – he has been a fantastic asset in helping find just the right property or buyers for a listed property. In a recent survey, I was shocked to find out that 70% of realtors have other employment.

My husband and I work full time in Real Estate. In today’s market both seller’s and buyers really need to work with someone who knows and understands how to work for their customers best long term interests.
